Mr. Odafi’s wealth of knowledge spans across Retail & Mortgage Banking, Financial Journalism, Mortgage and Personal Finance Advisory, Retirement Planning, Telecommunications, Project Management Consultancy and Business Analysis over a period of 35 years in both Nigeria and United Kingdom. He is a graduate of Economics from the University of Benin, and holds an MBA (Banking & Finance) from ESUT Business School and a Masters Degree in Project Management from the University of Westminster, London, United Kingdom. His working career started at UBA PLC where he worked in the banking operations unit during his NYSC service year, and immediately after, he joined the Economic and Business Desk of The Guardian Newspapers as Financial and Business Correspondent overseeing coverage of the Nigerian Stock Exchange, Securities and Exchange Commission, The NDIC, Central and Commercial Banks. Thereafter he joined Gilt Bond Finance and Securities where he was involved in Treasury and Asset management and also had stints with Network Mortgage Finance Limited as Manager in their Treasury Department and Parklane Securities & Trust Limited where he became their Managing Director. Mr. Odafi later moved to the United Kingdom in 2004 where he became a Certified Mortgage Adviser and has been involved in Mortgage and Financial Advisory services with several high-profile real estate development projects in United Kingdom. He became the MD/CEO of Worldscope Media & Telecoms – A subsidiary company set up to manage the Fixed Line Telephony License issued to Worldscope Ventures Limited by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), a position he held from 2008 to 2016. Mr Odafi returned to the UK and has handled numerous projects within and outside the shores of Nigeria, including serving as Projects Director with Commonwealth Consortium Limited and as Project Management consultant with RedQuadrant Limited. He brings his wealth of experience to support and drive the vision of El-Elyon Alliance and Securities Limited. Mr Odafi holds several professional certifications in Project Management including but not limited to Prince2 Practitioner, AgilePM® and the flagship Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification of the Project Management Institute, USA . Mr. Odafi has a strong passion for Agriculture which is the motivating factor why his company – Worldscope Integrated Farms Limited is registered with the National Agricultural Seeds Council (NASC) as an authorized Seed Multiplication out-grower and partners with IITA Go-seed and the National Roots Crops Research Institute (NRCRI), Umudike for the propagation of their Cassava and Maize breeding programs and release of approved premium Cassava and Maize varieties
